Animal Ed.Ventures Sanctuary

A World of Animals at your fingertips, located on 12 acres, home to a wide variety of unusual domestic and exotic animals. The nature center is available for school, daycare, church, and other organization field trips. Field trips are by appointment only. Business Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm. We are closed on Monday and Tuesday.   The facility is also available for birthday parties, festivals, and off-site programs.

Coats Cotton Museum

Built adjacent to the Coats History Museum, the history of cotton is told from the seed to its implementation in material. Unique with its restored machinery see how our ancestors lived and worked on the farm. Can be opened for Group Tours.

Coats History Museum

The town of Coats, North Carolina, was chartered in 1905. The museum is located in the beautiful Coats Heritage Square and invites visitors to learn more about the town and surrounding area. The Museum features local genealogies and family artifacts of J. Thomas Coats, local history books, antiques, and more. Also displays (Christmas past, military, local artisans and international). Can be opened for Group Tours.
