The Campbell House

The home place of James Archibald Campbell, founder of Campbell University, was built in 1890 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The home is used as a community meeting place and reception hall. Can seat 50 to a sit-down dinner and can hold up to 200 for a standing reception.

The Howard House

A Neoclassical Revival house with a full-height portico was built in 1908 – 1909 as an exact replica of the North Carolina building at the Jamestown Tri-centennial Exposition in Jamestown, VA. The home is on the National Register of Historic places and maintained by the Dunn Woman’s Club.
